As a part of our continuing efforts to increase transparency and communication with the community, we’ve compiled an overview of the DG token allocation amounts, their schedules, their amounts vested to date, and their amounts yet to vest from the allocations mentioned in the whitepaper.
There is a hard cap of 1,000,000,000 DG tokens that enter circulation over the 6 years following our launch on December 1st, 2020. These allocations are outlined in detail by type and month in the first tab of this spreadsheet.
In the subsequent 2nd – 4th sheets of the spreadsheet, we outline:
- DG Allocation to-date: Dec 1, 2020 – May 31, 2022
- Treasury DG Holdings, including DG inflows and DG outflows
- Ecosystem Fund Allocations, including capital raises and expenditures
The DG Treasury
The DG Treasury has had a total of 146,910,000 DG of inflows and 77,966,928 DG of outflows, producing a total net inflow of 68,943,072 DG.

- 1,970,000 DG in ICE Wearable Upgrades Revenue
- 5,560,000 DG in ICE Wearable Activations Revenue
- 14,380,000 DG purchased from open market
DG Outflows to date: 77,966,928 DG
- 16,000,000 DG distributed as rewards for early DG gameplay (DG mining)
- 2,000,000 DG distributed as prizes in competitions
- 37,800,000 DG distributed as staking rewards in DG Governance V1
- 15,923,600 DG distributed as staking rewards in DG Governance V2 (xDG)
- 6,243,328 DG distributed as xDG in the xDG community airdrop
This number is a bit less than that actual DG balance in the Treasury, which is 82,224,959 DG, consisting of:

- 50,942,024 DG held as Ethereum DG
- 14,584,000 DG held in Uniswap ETH-DG LP
- 9,698,428 DG held has Polygon DG
- 2,384,454 DG held as Polygon xDG

- 286,186 DG held in Uniswap V3 DG-xDG LP as DG
- 4,517,985 DG held in Uniswap V3 DG-xDG LP as xDG
17,867,142 DG Surplus
The 17,867,142 DG surplus that we currently have in the treasury can be explained by the rebalancing of the LP positions as DG has fallen in price over the last few months. As folks sell, more DG is added and ETH/MATIC is removed from the LP.
The Ecosystem Fund
The DG Ecosystem Fund is managed by the company with the intent of furthering development of our suite of products and adding value and reach to the DG Ecosystem.
To date, the DG Ecosystem Fund has been allocated to the following:
- 36,060,606 DG to raise additional funds as needed (to not have to pull from DAO Treasury for development costs) by selling DG OTC vested to strategic partners
- 53,339,394 DG on product marketing, smart contract audits, development, advisor/contractor compensation, and centralized exchange listings
Following our pre-seed and seed capital raises, the DG team has raised two additional rounds in order to bolster our runway.
Apr – July 2021 Round
The Apr – July 2021 DG capital raise brought in $5,000,000 in funding to the company, who allocated DG to strategic partners for an average price of $0.22. From this round, 11,363,636 DG has vested to the partners so far, and 11,363,636 DG remains to vest.
Oct – Dec 2021 Round
The Oct – Dec 2021 DG capital raise brought in $4,000,000 in funding to the company, who allocated DG to strategic partners for an average price of $0.30. From this round, so far 3,333,333 DG has vested to the partners, and 10,000,000 DG remains to vest.
DG Expenditures
In addition to capital raises to extend the development company’s runway, the DG team has allocated Ecosystem Fund DG to product marketing, event prizes, smart contract audits, development, advisor/contractor compensation, and centralized exchange listings.
